Get things started this Tuesday with $8 Bottomless Mug at the Hummingbird Stage and Taproom with Anna Mae Kersey on hitting the stage at around 10:30pm.
Wednesdays belongs to Mulberry Street Market, a locally sourced market with locally grown produced and free range, hormone free pork, beef and dairy all on Mulberry Street in downtown Macon, GA.
Friday Fest is going to be phenomenal on this First Friday in June. MGAA Under 30/Under $100 Art opening showcases talents local arts under the age of 30 with art pieces priced under $100.
Local band MagTard will release their new CD: Did You Mean Mustard? at the Contemporary Arts Exchange. Check out the fantastic working artists and their creative spaces before or after the band plays on the 2nd floor.
The 567 will have Tripp Spears, Alec Stanley, Besides Daniel, Threadbare Brother, and Molly Parden playing music with art showing upstairs.
The Rookery has Megan Jean & the KFB w/ Back City Woods. Megan Jean & the KFB, a band out of Charleston, SC has quickly become a local favorite with their own brand of gypsy folk rock ‘n roll. Back City Woods, a local band, will finish the night with a rock americana bluegrass fusion sure to set your feet to dancin’.
Speaking of dancing, you’ll get your fill of dancing this week: Ladies Night at the Hummingbird on Wednesday with bands playing Friday and Saturday, while Bottom’s Up has College Night Thursdays with DJ Twist, First Friday with Pistol Town and Saturday Night Ladies Night with DJ Shawty Slim before he hits the road with B.o.B. Element Nightclub has First Friday Frenzy while the Power Station ups their game with the first Friday Fusion this Friday. Don’t forget about Asylum and Envy on Friday and Saturday nights.
